Why is CO2 bad?

We get asked this question often, being an environmental non-profit with a focus on CO2 emission control. Well, it’s a greenhouse gas and it helps regulate our planet’s temperature: too little and we’ll freeze but too much and we’ll bake.

This is an excellent intro video by the BBC, with simple and elegant visuals, summarizing the problem.

Of course, the problem is more complex than this video suggests; however, if all you got is three minutes, this is a must-watch to understand the problem.
